Exceptional service and great customer service
The island just screams calm and positive vibes. One of the best place, I’ve ever been. This was my first time visiting Pulau Perhentian however the resort staff contacted and guided me from the very beginning to have hassle free journey. Once we arrived to the resort, we were welcomed by the crew and Johan made sure our stay at the resort were comfortable and safe. One the best person, we’ve get to know. The staff at the resort are super friendly and very nice people. Ahmad who is pic to pool, accompanied me to the beach where it was surrounded by trees which made me feel a little bit anxious however he offered to come along to make sure I feel safe even though the walk was 5-10 minutes. We were treated like vvip and truly made us speechless to express our gratitude to them. Planning to go to the resort again next year during peak season to have more island views and activities.

Exceptional
Marriott Resort is a paradise. My husband and I visited this resort during our honeymoon and we were absolutely blown away. The staff was very helpful and fulfilled all your wishes. The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern. It was a nice refreshment after our three-week wild trip through Malaysia. What we appreciated most was the rich offer of perfect services. Excellent food, massages, yoga, spa. We also appreciated the peace that the resort offers. We would love to come back here one day.

What was the highlight of Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa
Wonderful location and building, a bit too expensive!
The hotel is perfectly located on the west side of the island, sunset is very romantic and you can enjoy it from the pool! There are 3 swimming pools, restaurants and a dive center (unfortunately very expensive). The main beach is 15 minute walk from the hotel but all the area is very silent. The gym is spectacular, not big but in front of the ocean. Spa was perfect for my wife
The daily excursions are too expensive, about 10/20 times what you can find in the main beach. Yes, the boat is completely different but it has no sense to spend all those money. Staff is very cordial but still not so expert.

What was the highlight of Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa
Perfect
Everything about this resort feels luxurious and is so well arranged. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed is very comfortable. There is a buggy service to bring you anywhere in the resort. There are three pools, each beautifully designed with ocean view. The food in both restaurants is really good, we especially liked the seafood specialty restaurant which had great (poolside) snacks too. Every single person of the staff is genuinely friendly and so helpful. We’ve only spent two nights here, but would’ve loved to stay longer as we had such a relaxing time. It’s more expensive than other accommodations on the Perhentian islands, but absolutely worth it.
